Women's sizing carries the largest gaps between systems, which is why a single garment can be labelled a US 8, a UK 12, an EU 40, an Italian 44 and a French 40 all at once. The offsets are consistent: UK is four numbers above US, and EU is about 28 above US, so once you know one you can predict the rest. Italy runs a few numbers higher again.
